In the morning of Octomber 19th, the 14th Asian-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) training class kicked off in Chang’an campus of XUPT.

 

The training class was hosted by APT and Ministry of Industry and Information, and the theme was “The Application of Big Data Technique in Information Communication Industry”. The students were from 8 different Asian-Pacific countries, namely, Afghanistan, the Kingdom of Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

 

It was reported that XUPT was one of the five training base concerning foreign affires, and from 2002, it has undertook the training task of Telecommunication and ICT for management and technical staffs of APT and Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Up to now, it has been hosted for 14 times and trained for 134 students.
