Recently, two great translation works of masterpieces which were translated by some faculty members from School of Humanity and Social Science (SHSS), XUPT, have been published by Beijing Press. Among them, the book, Wittgenstein, was translated by Doctor Zhang Xueguang and Heidegger’s Crisis: Philosophy and Politics in Nazi Germany was translated by Dr. Zhao Jian, Dr. Sun Xiaolong, Dr. Li Hua and Dr. Wang Ce together. The two translation works are well-structured, rich and succinct in content. They are the best works in the study of Heidegger’s philosophy research.
Hans Sluga (1939— ), author of the original books, is the professor of philosophy in the University of California, Berkeley, and he has been engaged in cross-over study of Anglo-American philosophy and Continental philosophy. And he visited XUPT last year.
