On October 13th, the 13th APT Training Course kicked off in Chang’an campus of XUPT. The theme of the training course was the next generation of mobile communication technology and its application. Those officials from the Department of Communications in nine countries attended the training courses for 12 days, including the Kingdom of Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. During the training, the trainees have visited some telecommunication enterprises and research institution, such as Base Station of China Mobile in Shaanxi Branch, telecommunications bureau of Xi’an and Huawei research and development center.
