In the evening of March 26th, Application and Development Laboratory of 3G Mobile, which belongs to School of Computer Science, held its Career Talk Presentation to take in fresh at the room of FF203 in the East Zone of Chang’an campus. Zhai Duping, vice Dean of School of Computer Science, Zhang Rong, the tutor of the Laboratory, and more than 120 students who are from different majors had attended the presentation.
The students, who are in charge of the Laboratory, introduced some specific conditions to the audiences, and demonstrated some scientific achievements as well as the latest trends and market outlook. All students believed they benefited a lot and hoped to join the Laboratory to practice their ability.
Application and Development Laboratory of 3G Mobile was established in 2011, and it was conferred as “Google Talents Demonstration Base of Android in Universities’ Cooperation in China” by Google Corporation. The Laboratory is divided into three groups, which are Apple iOS, Google Android and Microsoft Windows Phone. It concentrates on application and development of mobile platform. Since its establishment, the members of the Laboratory have achievements in many kinds of scientific competitions. The graduates of the Lab take up occupations in IBM, Alibaba, Baidu and Tencent etc. All these have won great reputations for XUPT. The Lab adopts opening management mode, and through the club of application and development of 3G mobile(www.xiyoumobile.com), it can manage well in the ways of students’ self-organization, self-study, opening up and teachers’ introductions. It promotes the usage rate of experimental facilities, and cultivates students’ interests in scientific research.
