In late October, Dr. Eric M. Jamelske, a professor of economics in University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire of USA, came to XUPT and made some academic exchanges. He also engaged in investigation and survey on Health Economics in Xi’an city with some faculty and students of School of Economics and Management.

Dr. Eric M. Jamelske has mainly worked on environmental economics, health economics relevant issues and the research of public policy. XUPT and the other three universities which are located in Guangzhou, Beijing and Chengdu cooperated with each other, and have made an investigation of Climate Change of China and US. The research accelerated the cooperation between XUPT and University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and it also helped the faculty and students to further understand Chinese people’s and American people’s opinions toward global climate change.
