On May 5th, 2018, the IAAF World Walking Team Championship was held in Taicang, Jiangsu Province. 379 athletes from 46 countries and regions participated in the competition. Our school students Wang Qin and Yang Liujing participated in the competition on behalf of the Chinese team.

Wang Qin teamed up with four other Chinese players to win fourth place in the 50-km adult men's group. At the same time, he won fifth place with a score of 3:45:27. He created a personal best score and successfully entered the Asian Games. Yang Liujing won the championship in the 20-km adult women’s team. This event is a world race walking event only after the Olympic Games. It is held every two years.
