According to the news, in 2017, the results of the American college Students Mathematical Modeling contest and cross-disciplinary mathematical modeling contest announced in recent days, XUPT won the first prize for 3 items, second prize for 8 items, and third prize for 5 items.  

MCM/ICM is an international Mathematical model contest for college students which organized by the American National Science Foundation, the American Mathematical Society, the American Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, and the National Security Agency. It is the highest ranking one among various competitions of international college students, and it enjoying a high reputation as the grand gathering of international mathematical modeling contest.
